Identify and approach new prospects that fit with the profiles of customers that GEODIS looks for. • Think always in landing new business proposing solutions rather than in “issuing quotations”. • Be close to the local customers offering the best market solutions and knowing any time the local market selling levels. • Be aware of the best local providers to rely on when offering the best solutions to our customers. • Manage its own sales activity only through Sales Force, which means including the opportunities generated with local clients on the system and update any contact done with them (calls, meetings, visits, etc…). • Once a new business is landed, ensure that the handover to the operational team is done accurately, through a local SOP, identifying the service sold, the suppliers to be used and ensuring that the selling rates are updated in CW1. • Ensure that the customers under its perimeter meet the agreed payment terms. • Use the standard quotation tool of GEODIS (CW1 Quotation module) and avoid quoting in email or excel. Exceptions to be approved by the branch manager and the national sales manager. • Help and promote the usage of the GEODIS digital tools within the customers: IRIS Quotation tool, IRIS Booking tool, IRIS Track and trace, etc… • Communicate upwards ensuring that the market information is duly known by the rest of the sales team (including the branch managers). • Ensure that the business is run according to the basics of the Freight Forwarding Line of Business and the specific local guidelines established in the country. • Ensure that the payment conditions of the new customers are approved beforehand according to the national guidelines of payment insurance. • Contribute to the overall goals of GEODIS, promoting and selling the 5 Lines of Businesses offer to any of the existing and new accounts. • Use linkedin as a selling tool promoting GEODIS brand, leveraging your social reputation and targeting prospects.

Knowledge of the international transportation industry concepts: incoterms, mode of transports, etc… • Good understanding of the business processes. • Sales skills. • Effectivity mindset, landing business is the goal. To oversee and optimise daily Warehouse Operations, ensuring compliance with GEODIS & Velux operational guidelines & requirements. The Warehouse Lead provides a key role in managing resources, supporting logistics chain optimisation, and maintaining the efficiency and profitability of warehouse activities. Key Objectives • Operational Efficiency: Ensure warehouse operations are aligned with GEODIS objectives & adhere to operational requirements as specified by Velux • Compliance: Ensure that all warehouse activities meet the standards set in general rules and operational guidelines. • Resource Management: Lead and coordinate warehouse staff to maximize productivity, uphold safety standards, and maintain operational efficiencies and customer requirements. Operational Management • For Velux, oversee daily warehouse activities, including order management, inbound/outbound flows, and inventory control, to ensure efficient and profitable operations. • Support implementation of logistics chain optimisation, last-mile delivery, and return logistics as required to ensure Geodis meet Velux KPI's • Ensure warehouse utilisation is in line with Velux requirements Team Leadership • Lead, train, and coordinate the warehouse team to ensure consistent application of best practices and safety protocols. • Foster collaboration among team members and with other departments (Transport, IT, etc.). • Manage Team including identifying development, training requirements and performance monitoring (Team KPI's). Process Support • Particpate in continious improvement initiatives and ensure accurate and timely completion of required documentation, reporting and adherence to Geodis/Velux process requirements.

Candidate Profile • Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management. • Strong leadership and team coordination skills. • Analytical ability to monitor KPIs and support financial performance reviews. • Knowledge of safety, compliance, and environmental standards in warehouse settings. • Customer- and results-oriented mindset. • Capacity to implement process improvements and adapt to evolving operational needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following duties, as well as any other tasks relevant to the department which may be needed. • Processing of customer bookings by e-mail, phone and online • Planning of export and import traffic, including FTL, LTL and groupage. • Replying to or delegating incoming correspondence • Dealing with customer queries and proactively communicating with customers. • Working with hauliers and our partners & agents abroad. • Ensuring accurate financial information is kept. • Updating customers as to order progress. • Progressing and updating orders up to and including file closure. • Managing outturn reports and amending files in line with shortages/overlands. • Other General Duties within the Department • Liaising with Warehouse staff and Management daily. A hybrid working arrangement with up to 2 days remote working per week will be permitted following successful completion of probation and training. The successful candidate can of course choose to work from the office full-time.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a busy freight forwarding role. • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail. • Excellent English language communication & interpersonal skills are required. • Good proficiency with Microsoft applications (Office 365 Suite) is required, and the candidate must be eager to learn other software used in the business. • Must be a team player, while also having the ability to use their own initiative in their job as the varied tasks of this role will demand. • Excellent organisational and time management skills are essential. • Some flexibility of working hours may be required due to the time sensitive nature of the industry and our clients, especially on Friday evenings for export planning. • Some proficiency in German, Spanish, French or Dutch would be an advantage. Education • Irish Leaving certificate or international equivalent is the minimum requirement. • A third level qualification, especially in a relevant area, would be an advantage but not an essential requirement. • Professional development opportunities may arise over the course of employment and the successful candidate should be open to participating in courses or further development opportunities.
