Operational activities - Freight Administration
Job description
Monitor and coordinate sea outbound shipments for customers, in line with (CS)SOP, GW and industry policies and procedures, in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Anticipate outbound shipments and proactively track shipments
- Select appropriate carrier , negotiate rates with carriers and coordinate actual shipment
- Communicate with carrier to confirm shipment arrival and release
- Coordinate customs clearance and delivery to customer
- Execute client contact and align customer needs and services provided
- Arrange gathering and hand-over of freight documents
- Execute by arranging warehouse requirements if applicable
