Our Capacity Account Managers assist with the development and growth of the initial carrier network for the Geodis marketplace. You are part of a team that partners with external transportation partners, and internal partners to facilitate and execute daily operations, while anticipating challenges and presenting solutions to delight our Enterprise customers and support Geodis RT's business objectives. Account Managers are committed to continuous improvement. We are seeking candidates who are excited to help create a product with lasting value, have a desire to improve their operations acuity, and are passionate about changing the Logistics Industry abroad.
What You'll Do
• Prospect, engage, and cold-call potential transportation partners
• Meet daily, sales related, activity goals such as calls, and interactions
• Actively manage the quality of our transportation partner base
• Take a data-driven approach solving difficult issues
• Able to speak to core operational and growth metrics with the management team
• Develop process and system improvements to continually raise the bar of execution
• Manage any issues that come up in the normal operation of freight
• Serve as a partner to our sales team anticipating challenges and presenting solutions to support Geodis RT's objectives

Applicant's profile

What You'll Need
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems under pressure
• Ability to collaborate and work with a highly diverse set of shippers, transportation partners, and internal partners
• Analytical and critical thinking ability
• Strong communication and organization skills
• The ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well
• Fluency in English
