Job description

Manage "trust-based" relationship with Finance, Accounting and Controlling business stakeholders:
. Understand financial accounting and controlling business processes, pain points, internal and external challenges they're facing with and priorities they have, to be able to propose innovative solutions to business
. Propose "best practices" to automate, optimize, simplify and secure finance and controlling business processes for the sake of business efficiency and value creation
. Challenge business requirements for the sake of standardization, harmonization and sustainability of "core model"
. Ensure internal customer satisfaction

Deliver in "excellence" inline with Corporate IT Fin. and Proc. Service Line strategy:
. Design and implement the new ERP solution, inline with the defined scope, by taking the strengths and weaknesses of the ERP solution into account, from both process as well as technology points of view.
. Follow the ERP solution roadmap, ongoing evolutions on the software by the editor, to make sure that they're well aligned and integrated to our Core Model (or vice versa).
. Promote "standard" solutions and "best practices" and avoid complex developments whenever possible.
. Deliver the project inline with Project Management methodology, documentation standards, project plan and milestones, in excellence.
. Be the "bridge" between "business teams" and "implementation partner" to make sure that business requirements are well understood, well translated to the ERP solution (system) language, well implemented in the system and there is a smooth, effective and excellent communication exists between business teams and solution implementation partner/functional consultants
. Always and continuously challenge custom made developments both on business as well as solution side, in order to stick to the solution standards at max. If custom made developments are not inevitable, make sure that development design is well done, kept as simple as possible, documentation is well managed, testing is done with E2E approach,

Respect to the project methodology, deliverables and planning, and deliver inline with the defined governance model of the project:
. Make sure that all project deliverables in his/her area are completed on time, in excellence, and stored/shared with other project team members, as per the defined rules and procedures.
. Make sure that core model design is well described from solution point of view, supported by all deliverables needed, including process flow charts, with E2E approach (master data, process flows, reporting, roles and authorization) and all these documentation is kept up-to-date all the time.
. Use the project accelerators and tools effectively
. Participate, lead, contribute to the project status review meetings
. Manage/monitor/report issues and risk in his/her domain
. Respect and own ALM and CAB processes within Corp IT Serv.Line

Applicant's profile

- ERP Finance and Controlling solution expert with experience in global ERP implementation projects (7+ years).
- Extremely strong solution knowledge on the functional scope of the ERP solution, including a great level of understanding on landscape and developments, user exists, etc.
- Very good level of understanding on finance and controlling business processes, harmonization and standardization opportunities within the scope of ERP core model implementation project.
- Being very familiar to ERP best practices and recommended standard solutions
- International experience and mindset
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into standard, simple, efficient and automated solution design
- Effective communication and close work with consulting partner (integrator) all along the project, in good team spirit
- Being able to work with off-shore project team members efficiently, when needed
- Focused on quality, innovation, digitalization/automation, simplification inline with our Corporate IT strategy
- Strong lcommunication skills with a customer focused approach
- Being able to challenge and convince key business stakeholders at all levels, at global scale, good level of influence on teams and people to achieve project targets
- Dynamism, open-mindlessness , international mindset,a good work ethic is a must to have for this role to succeed
- Hands-on solution expertise, functional "inhouse consulting" role
- Problem solving, decision making skills are needed in day to day job
- Being able to work under pressure, high self-motivation and result-oriented approach is also key for the role
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
