Job description
A variety of tasks are waiting for you, amongst others:
• Developing a strong customer relationship in line with customer need based on a customer portfolio of Regional Key Accounts,
• Overall responsibility for customer relationship in terms of Revenue, GP, retention, and development of the cooperation,
• Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities to expand our regional presence and influence,
• Building a strong pipeline which is visible in CRM and that supports the growth ambition of a Customer Development Plan,
• Being the key contact for customers and cooperating with other departments to ensure optimum customer experience,
• Lead a team of national account managers (that work locally on the accounts) functionally to grow the customer relationship,
• Generating quality sales leads for the global network,
• Allocating tender to the correct team in line with the tender process while ensuring the correct hand-over of customer information,
• Developing value proposals in cooperation with the Lines of Business, Business Solutions Department and Supply Chain Optimization,
• Being responsible for the budgeting of the accounts assigned and all commercial agreements.
Applicant's profile
You bring along:
• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales Management or a related field,
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of professional experience in customer account management with proven sales record,
• Experience in the logistics industry is considered as a plus,
• A well-equipped sales toolbox: you have a convincing attitude, outstanding negotiation skills and a proactive approach to the market,
• Expert in sales techniques especially on concept sales, customer psychology and purchasing patterns,
• A passion for driving results and an agile way of thinking,
• A strong and convincing character to lead teams functionally and promote business opportunities towards management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications,
• Fluent in English – additional languages is a plus,
• Willing to travel.
