Senior Data Architect H/F

Description de la mission

GEODIS is deploying an audacious strategic plan "Ambition 2023" to support group's growth and its Digital transformation. Both to help some of some key strategic projects in domains related to data or transversal applications and leverage our core data assets we are recruiting a Senior Data Architect
- She/He will be part of the Enterprise Architecture team.

- Being responsible for aligning the future state enterprise information architecture with the corporate strategy while providing guidelines and validating the Data Models produced for GEODIS Applications.
- Providing data architecture guidelines to cross-functional teams in the areas of data techniques, including data modeling, data access, data integration, database design and implementation.
- Leading and helping the design and the implementation of data architecture and ways of building data exchanges.
- Acting as a partner with business stakeholders, management, and IT teams to identify needs and guide the delivery of data assets
- Act as the design authority in term of Data Model and Architecture design for both Group and local initiatives

Profil du candidat

- Graduated from an Engineering school or in Computer Science with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience as Data Engineer or similar role with data Architecture experience.
- Expertise in data models, data pipeline and data centric architecture concepts
- Experience and knowledge of cloud-based data platform
- Experience both with micro services Architectures / Event Driven Architecture and with relational and non-relational databases / distributed data
- Expertise with event sourcing and event streaming. Specifically, with technologies like Change Data Capture, Kafka, Spark, and Stream processing technologies
- Expertise in architecture practices such as reference architecture, patterns, and governance
- Fluency in translating architectures into engineering designs
- Expertise with metadata management and schema management

- You should:
o Demonstrate strong analytical skills
o demonstrate effective listening and communication skills, psychology and leadership skills.
o provide guidance and direction, mentorship and quality assessment of best practices.
o be able to interact effectively with co-workers and collaborate with team members
o demonstrate an excellent verbal and written English

- Will be a plus:
o Good Knowledge of Supply Chain Ecosystem and Logistics
o Good Knowledge of AGILE methodologies and DEVSECOPS practices
