Americas IT Second Level Support Specialist M/F

Job description

The job's purpose is:
o Work on daily IT incidents and requests resolution for business applications.
o Collaborate closely with business functions at all levels driving efficiency through IT.
o Ensure business continuity, through quality and efficiency of IT operations in the Region.
o Secure handover and knowledge transfer from implementation team to IT Operations tied to new Customers solutions implementation.
o Foster improvements to IT support processes.
o Assist Release management: Participate in Non-Regression Tests along with the team and first line support.
o Manage High Priority Incidents and communications on time.
o Follow up RCA for High Priority Incidents.
o Monitoring with IT tools on Traffic and API and propose improvements.
o Participate in Hypercare for New customers implemented and manage RUN support.
o Scale up knowledge across the team and the organization over the IT solutions and capabilities.
o Prepare weekly or Monthly reports.
o IT Backlog follow up
o Collaborate with other IT team members
o Create documentation, maintain knowledge articles and other repositories.

Applicant's profile

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's, Engineering IT degree or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of IT Setup and Support Knowledge. Logistics IT background is plus.

Preferred Experience and Knowledge:
• Ideally Supply Chain or Logistics process and business applications knowledge
• IT Logistics, Solutions
• IT operations processes (Incident, Problem, Change, NRT, UAT support)

Necessary Technical / Functional Skills
• IT Logistics, Applications Knowledge
• ITIL knowledge
• Support Experience
• Effective communicator
• Internal communication skills
