Description de la mission

Position goal

The Business Analyst D&E is part of the BI Product Owner team for Finance and Sales Performance Reporting, within the GEODIS Group Financial Controlling department.
The BI Product owner team is acting as an internal Service provider for Corporate, Lobs or local reporting needs. They support the creation of new and meaningful reporting for Finance and Sales Performance Subjects. The maintenance and evolution of existing reporting solutions shall deliver incremental value.


Within this team, we look for a business partner for our Line of Business Distribution & Express (“Lob D&E”) to support Sales Performance Reporting, ensure accuracy and efficiency of those reports, provide support for understanding and adoption of the tool, and ensure further evolution of existing Reportings.

As a member of the Agile Team, he/she will also be responsible for defining user stories and support prioritizing initiatives. Reporting is a highly visible and transversal domain that spans across different organizations, and relies on multiple sources (ERPs, Operational systems, CRM, Customer referential, etc…).
The Business Analyst D&E – BI Product owner team will work in close interaction with D&E Sales, Marketing and Finance teams, with Group Finance, Group Sales performance and Group IT teams. The understanding of key stakes for D&E Sales teams is key in order to ensure a proper transcription in the produced reports.

He/she will also contribute to other project streams managed by the BI Product owner team on Finance or Sales performance topics.


Organization

GEODIS PO Team oversees building new & meaningful reporting to Controlling, Sales and Sales Performance Managers.

PO Team works closely with:
- Corporate and D&E Sales and Sales performance Managers
- Corporate Controlling Team, incl Sales Controlling
- D&E Finance Team
- D&E MAB Team (= in charge of Finance Digital transformation)
- Master Data Team and Customer Data Project Manager
- Business intelligence Team
- Business intelligence Support Team


The Business analyst reports to the Product owner of the Bi Solution for Finance &Sales Performance Reporting.

Profil du candidat


The Business analyst is a closed business partner for Distribution & Express and their Finance and Sales teams
- Supports the “product” from a “what” and “why” perspective for the reporting products. His/her curiosity allows you to quickly understand the business need and to transcribe this in understandable specification for proper IT development.
- He/She anticipates future business needs and contribute to definition of a relevant and efficient Roadmap for the LOB
- Supports delivering incremental value every sprint when LOB subjects are logged
- Proactively recommends design best practices and technical solutions delivering high business value for the LOB D&E
- Works with agile team to provide expertise in answering questions, addressing ambiguities, and mitigating any issues with the relevant experts in place
- Feeds the Sprint Management tool with clear explanation to support efficient development of new features for the LOB D&E
- follows the IT development and participates in UAT
- Monitors, analyzes, and test items related to new releases
- Supports deployment and training of D&E Team Members
- Supports incident management impacting D&E reporting
Education and skills

- High education degree (Business School or University)
- Experience (3-7 years): Acting as a real business partner supporting reporting solution creation for different internal clients
- Fluent in English
- Business oriented
- Project Management: Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries.
- Knowledge to mix different data sources MDM, CRM, BI etc to create meaningful connectivities
- Lean & Agile practices
- Used to handle massive data for proper testing
- Experience in the implementation of Business Intelligence Reporting (for example SAP BI, Power BI…)
- Ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly
