Job description

To deliver outstanding freight services to customers by
• coordinating shipments
• arranging additional services
• keeping the customer updated on cargo progress in order to ensure customer satisfaction
• working as a team to ensure all customers receive the same quality of service
• maintaining KPI requirements and compliances to ensure high and consistent level of quality

Air/Sea Import
Monitor and coordinate inbound shipments for customers, in line with (CS)SOP, GEODIS and industry policies and procedures, in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Completion of responsible functions as per the ISO Forwarding - Air flow chart
• Completion of responsible functions as per the ISO Forwarding - FCL flow chart
• Completion of responsible functions as per the ISO Forwarding - LCL flow chart
• Maintain and communicate client schedules as per client agreement

Pricing and Tariffs
Negotiate rates with carriers for customer shipments, in line with procurement contract with carrier and customer contract, in order provide customers with competitive rates and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide allocated clients with annually adjusted client rate sheets
• Analyse carrier rates to provide the best option to suite the client's needs

Administration
Gather documents and information, process and register file, in line with GEODIS and industry policies and procedures, in order to ensure proper administration of files and enable a clear overview of operational activities.
• Gather information and documentation from customers and set-up files in the operational system
• Gather and break down documents form airline or shipper and calculate charges, process in operational system
• Generate cost sheet and invoice. Close files, pass invoices and credit memos to client

Compliance
• Ensure NextGen (CW1) is kept fully up-to-date and all required date populated, and documents uploaded
• Ensure IRIS compliance KPI's are met
• Ensure invoicing KPI's are met
• Ensure accrual KPI's are met
• Ensure shipment completion KPI's are met

Financial Performance
• Ensure the recovery of disbursements to optimize profits
• Investigate unrecoverable disbursements
