Non regular working hours. Participation will be required on times outside normal working hours to support business on a global basis (i.e early morning or late afternoon)

Job description

The Finance IT Project officer will be reporting to the Finance IT Project Manager.
He/She will be coordinating projects aiming at:
• Maintain the Finance Core Model and adapt it to the business and legal environment evolution;
• Contact the Editors (Raising Feature Requests), perform end to end testing;
• Organize the support to the local Entities in their daily tasks;
• Address financial system related issues and inquiries as per core business rules
• Provide functional analysis and support when a functional issue is raised for specialized processes (i.e central profit share)
• Support in the validation and maintenance of Finance part in our BI solutions
• Prepare and organize long term Run mode (document processes, hand over to BPO or support team, etc…)
• Oversee and participate in special projects and duties as assigned by management, including necessary research, testing and documentation
• Ensure the correct transfer of the projects knowledge to the support teams (Specialists, L2, etc…).

Applicant's profile

5 to 7 years of experience relevant to the position - Bachelor Degree.
Fluent in English (written and verbal);
Strong financial analysis skills, detailed oriented with expert knowledge of accounting procedures
Highly proficient PC skills including; Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Experience crafting effective monthly story-telling materials, weekly/monthly performance decks and financial management materials
Knowledge of accounting / financial systems and processes; Experience with Cargowise is preferred
Project management experience

Capacity for analysis and synthesis

Good communication, planning and reporting skills
