Description de la mission

FP&A Senior Controller Position goal :
-Ensure the quality, reliability and the conformity of the financial reportings delivered within defined deadline. Ensure follow up and analysis of Geodis Key performance indicators.

Organization :
Geodis Group Controlling provides all Financials to GEODIS Group CFO and CEO. The team is composed of:
- FP&A team in charge of issuing all financial data at Geodis Level (Scope of 300 entities in 65 countries with a global revenue of 10Bn€). FP&A contributes to the business performance management, and organizes the reporting cycle (monthly reporting, budget, forecasts and strategic plan)
- Business analysis, projects and expertise team
- Corporate and IT Controlling teams which ensures the controlling of corporate entities as well as the analysis of Function costs, including IT costs and to review and validate the commitments or investment projects, Lines of Business' financials and business trends
Group Controlling teams constantly interacts with Finance departments of each Line of Business and Regions, with other members of Group finance and with consolidation team.

Missions and responsibilities
The FP&A Senior controller:
-Analyses the Group's financial and business performance, including monthly reporting, budget or reforecast, based on data provided by the reporting tools (mainly BO Finance), Line of Business' and Region management letters and business analysis provided:
-Ensures financial data and analysis are reliable
-Analyses and understands variations vs last year, budget and reforecast
-Warns management when identifies discrepancies or significant gaps
-Prepares and updates the files and templates needed for the review and presentation of monthly results, budgets, forecasts
-Participates to the preparation of all Group financial communications
-Analyses the P&L's by business activity as well as operational indicators and proposes any relevant review /focus for understanding and managing the business performance
-Works closely with other members of Group Controlling, Group Finance and Lines of Business, Regions
-Prepares and participates to any ad hoc analysis or project coordinated by Geodis Group Controlling

Based on the FP&A Team current organization, the FP&A Senior Controller will be strongly involved in the production of new reporting, whether based on existing tools (SAP BFC) or on new ones (Power BI, Oracle)

Profil du candidat

Education and skills:

High education degree (Business School or University)

Experience (4-6 years): in an audit firm or in controlling within an international Group

Fluent English

Expertise in Microsoft Pack office tools (Excel, Power point…)
Usage of Power BI, Oracle and / or SAP BFC is highly recommended.

Ability to work in a team, rigor, flexibility, analysis skills, writing and formalization abilities, observation of deadlines and ability to summarize
