Job description

• Management of the Network Pricing and Tender Management teams
• Strategic preparation of large tenders
• Elaboration of customized solutions
• Development of product solutions for the BD
• Coordination of inquiries and returns from the specialist departments
• Correspondence in German and English
• Management and further development of the local tender process including analysis of the incoming RFQs together with the business development / procurement area / regional and global tender management
• Compliance with deadlines
• RFQ documentation - including post-processing
• Close cooperation with the branches and the regional teams
• Close cooperation with the procurement team and the business development area
• Participation in projects such as further development of rate sheets
• Participation in customer appointments, remote and on-site, as part of tendering processes

Applicant's profile

• Forwarding training / several years of forwarding experience
• Well-founded professional experience in the above tasks
• Very good spoken and written English
• Very good MS Office skills
• Very good understanding of numbers
• Knowledge of common bidding platforms such as Transporeon/Ti-Contract (advantageous)
• Structured, independent and reliable way of working, ability to work in a team
