Description de la mission

Geodis has built an ambitious strategic plan that places performance, development and QHSE issues as a pillar of this project.
It is in this context that we are looking for a person to join the Business Excellence Freight Fowarding team with a global scope of intervention.
We offer you the opportunity to build, implement and monitor an international QHSE plan from A to Z that will apply to the 42,000 employees of the group and in 60 countries.

Reporting to the Business Excellence Director, you will be based at the Geodis head office in Levallois perret and your main tasks will be as follows:
• Develop, maintain and improve the business Integrated Management System to underpin QHSSE and operating standards.
• Maintain a contract risk register, reviewing QHSSE risks and escalating where appropriate.
• Promote QHSSE and continuous improvement culture.
• Design, adapt and maintain corporate QHSSE documentation
• Support the training and development of all staff to ensure awareness and understanding of QHSSE Standards and the relevance to business objectives.
• Manage assigned corporate projects, which support the development and improvement of the QHSSE program.
• Maintain quality, safety and environmental systems; implement and audit to achieve compliance with ISO 9001 – ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
• Investigate and follow-up on incidents, accidents and deviations.
• Perform risk assessment to support Freight Forwarding operations activities.
• Conduct root-cause analysis related to QHSSE related incidents and provide follow up reporting to Freight Forwarding management and Operations management.
• Compile, analyse QHSSE related KPIs and report to management
• Support process owners in driving continuous improvement.
• Support the network on QHSSE requirements for tenders and project/contract implementation and execution.
• Support the network in the implementation of the company's processes and procedures in the network and projects operated.
• Design and roll-out necessary QHSSE training program
• Carry out sites inspections, internal and second party audits
• Identify, promote and share best practices and initiatives.
• Other jobs and duties as assigned.

Profil du candidat

• Minimum 10 to 15 years' experience in QHSSE management (a must)
• Robust knowledge and understanding of Quality, Health & Safety, Security and Environmental legislation & best practice and appropriate industry specific qualifications (NEBOSH & IEMA, Auditor Training)
• Excellent knowledge ISO 9001 – ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards (a must)
• Minimum 5 years' experience in project management (a must)
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Ability to travel internationally (expected to be 20% but dependent on business requirements)

• Self-starting individual with ability to work unsupervised in an international environment.
• Competent and experienced in drafting and implementing comprehensive QHSSE documentation
• Competent and experienced in process mapping and management
• Highly effective written and oral skills.
• Strong analytical, planning, and presentation skills
• Strong Project Management skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and to communicate across all levels of the organization
• Strong collaboration and networking skills.
• Strong analytical and systemic problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
