Job title

Regional Manager Transport Management (m/f/x)

Job description

- Coordinate and supervise all transport management activities (FTL, LTL, FCL) within the countries of the North, East and Central European (NECE) Region
- Develop and ensure adherence to the regional defined organization, job descriptions/competencies, standards, processes and tools; inform, train and communicate best practices and business developments to the team
- Set up a regional sourcing strategy to meet the local, regional and global growth targets and satisfy customer expectations
- Support regional budget for Transport Management and steer business performance (engage in regular business reviews, review performance against budget and KPIs, agree on potential action plans)
- Ensure operational compliance to company and Group procedure regulations
- Provide monthly reports/updates on market evolution
- Monitor business performances of countries within regions in relation to profit including FCF, growth targets

Applicant's profile

- Completed commercial training in freight forwarding services
- Several years of professional experience in (truck) freight forwarding
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or in an equivalent discipline is an advantage
- Experience in working in an international logistics company is beneficial
- Fluent in English, other European languages are considered as a plus
