Job description

- In this position you will lead the Customs Brokerage division in Europe and South Africa.
- You will be responsible for developing our Customs Brokerage services and drive innovation for this product.
- Defining the target customers for the region is a key activity of this role.
- You will promote the product Customs Brokerage by trainings, communication, campaigns and other information channels.
- You will be the contact person and sparring partner on Customs Brokerage for stakeholders such as regional CEO, management boards, headquarters and different departments.
- You will have an impact by owning and managing the Customs Brokerage budget of the region.
- You will be in charge of managing the Customs Brokerage business performance in alignment with the country heads.
- Ensure compliance by monitoring local operations in line with country regulations of GEODIS procedures and policies.

Applicant's profile

- Completed bachelor's degree in business administration, sales management or a related subject.
- You have gained at least 8 years of experience in the Customs Brokerage area.
- Your logistic industry expertise helps you seeing the big picture while bearing in mind the details.
- You have demonstrated that you can lead and motivate a team both directly and indirectly.
- You enjoy working internationally and have strong communication skills in English; another European language is an advantage.
- Your working style is characterized by analytical and conceptual thinking, and you are proud of your excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- You are self-sufficient and have a very good command of the Microsoft Office Suite.
