Job description

Objectives:
The primary goal of the Business & Internal Controller will be to support the FF Internal Control & Risk Management (ICRM) Director in the implementation of the internal control and risk management framework, with a special focus on FF Operations, participating in the design and roll-out of action plans to prevent incidents and risks, the enhancement of the internal controls and the execution of operational audits within the FF Line of Business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce our internal control framework on Operations within the Freight Forwarding LoB, and its direct and indirect impact on other business-related areas
- Develop and enforce the continuous monitoring of the internal control plans in the different entities assigned to FF Head Office in the French perimeter, following up and providing support to local teams
- Execute and conduct compliance assessments on different operational processes and procedures at entity and country level
- Design and roll out new operational and business process controls within the FF Network
- Support the full deployment of the framework to newly-integrated entities following external acquisition & group re-organization, with a dedicated focus on Operations
- Support the deployment of the new Risk Management tool in coordination with ICRM Group
- Support the preparation and update of the FF LoB risk map and its risk reference framework
- Conduct internal control audits on operational processes and IT tools
- Follow-up and monitoring of anomalies reported by entities in the Anti-bribery Accounting Controls process
- Support the implementation of Level 2 Controls in the frame of the Anti-bribery Accounting Controls quarterly campaigns

- Travel will be required for this position

Applicant's profile

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding Operations
- Great level of knowledge on FF IT Application Operational landscape (Cargowise, - Qlik Sense...)
- Good knowledge on the Freight Forwarding business model and operational processes
- Practical experience in Ops KPIs reporting and follow-up, Job file level analysis and auditing
- Very good command of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrate collaboration and teamwork skills
- Adaptability and proactiveness to learn about new scopes / areas of work
- Fluent in English, preferably also in French
- Open to travel
