Job description

• Ensure 100% compliance with the code of conduct of the Geodis Group;
• Support the Global Account Development in Qatar;
• Develop and execute account plans, analyze market trends and determine client needs;
• Collaborates with the National Sales Manager (NSM), to develop sales strategies to improve market share in Qatar;
• Determines, along with the NSM, the annual revenue and margin plans by implementing Geodis Qatar's sales and marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results;
• Establish and achieve sales objectives by forecasting, developing annual sales targets for assigned business verticals.
• Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
• Along with the NSM, support and provide leadership to the junior members of the sales team;
• Identify and develop key accounts. Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits, exploring needs, anticipating new opportunities;
• Ensure CRM is updated, so that all opportunities can be monitored and used to enhance business prospects;
• Ensure all key stake holders (Ocean and Air Freight) are involved in solution sales;
• Communicate regularly with other functions of Geodis Qatar to coordinate market related and customer related efforts;
• Ensure quotations and contracts entered, are professionally done and, if necessary, in close cooperation with the NSM;
• Comply with all safety, quality, and environment regulations of Geodis.

Applicant's profile

. Minimum 4-5 years selling freight forwarding in the GCC with up to date knowledge of freight solutions possible in the Middle East, specifically in Qatar.

• A proven record of accomplishment of successfully delivering transportation / freight forwarding solutions locally and internationally.
