Job description

• Assist customers origin logistics activities globally of all regions (incl. order, vendor, and transport management activities)
• Participate and support customer discussions
• Handle origin tariff and pricing issues
• Review and ensure the quality of all shipment reports, evaluate information sources for accuracy, reliability and relevance
• Carry out weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting
• Support in preparing quarterly business reviews (QBR) with the Control Tower manager
• Assist the manager to organize, reviews and prepare KPI report
• Be flexible to assist other team members with related task as required.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Applicant's profile

• Degree holder in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
• At least 3 years solid operational experience in a similar role within a CT or in an operational position in sea freight
• Possess project management experience and like to work in a fast pace environment
• Excellent communication skills in English (written & verbal) and have good intercultural skills.
• Being experienced user of one or more IT systems used within the freight forwarding industry and MS Office applications. Ability to manage and interpret high volume data
• Being accurate organizer with strong business acumen.
• Customer-oriented, creative and a representative team player.
• Flexible in working hours and have a service focused attitude, willing to solve issues outside regular working hours if needed.
