Job description

Develop, implement and execute SGAP, in line with national sales strategy and market developments, in order to set realistic sales goals and contribute to a realistic National Sales Plan.
 Identify and set realistic actual Number of Prospects, New Revenue & Shipments in cooperation with the NSM
 Plan specific activities to ensure realization of the Sales Goals
 Continuously monitor own performance against SGAP and adjust actions or approach if necessary
 Administer planning in the SGAP document

New Business
Identify and target prospects with customized propositions as well as coordinate implementation of contract, in line with national sales strategy, personal SGAP and GSP, in order to close new profitable business and increase the national sales revenue
 Identify prospects needs, develop and present suitable and profitable business propositions and close business
 Ensure proper handover customer contract agreements (SOP) to the operations and IT department in cooperation with business implementation
 Ensure services are provided as agreed with the customer in a contract or SLA and document actions taken in CRM
 Provide complete and timely information regarding new business to concerned parties within network
 Allocate tender to correct Tender team, in line with tender process, and ensure correct hand over of customer information

Account Management
Develop and maintain customer relationships, in line with SLA and customer needs, to enhance client portfolio, safeguard sales revenue and ensure customer satisfaction.
 Function as first line of contact and cooperate with OPS and IT departments within Geodis to ensure optimal customer service. Document actions taken in CRM
 Proactively contact and meet customers to identify and prevent issues. Identify cross selling opportunities and develop and present additional suitable profitable business solutions
 Allocate tender to correct Tender team, in line with tender process, and ensure correct hand over of customer information

Credit Management
Check and monitor creditworthiness of new customers, in line with GSP, credit management policy and in cooperation with the finance department, in order to minimize business risks.
 Manage credit management check of prospects, in cooperation with the finance department
 Contribute to the analyses and solving of payment issues with allocated existing customers in cooperation with finance department
 Document actions taken in CRM

Business Solutions
Identify and initiate new opportunities to meet customer/prospect needs, in cooperation with Business Solutions departments, IT and OPS, in order to be able to meet customers current and future needs
 Identify gaps and and opportunities in Geodis and opportunities in Geodis services and advice NSM/Area Sales Manager and Business Solutions department
 Develop Value Proposals in cooperation with Business Solutions department
 Identify and initiate new e-services

Applicant's profile

 Bachelor working and thinking level
 1-3 years of experience with documented sales record
 Experience in freight forwarding and logistics industry
 Excellent negotiation & presentation techniques
 Good sales techniques; concept sales, customer psychology and purchasing patterns
