Finance Program Manager H/F
Description de la mission
For a few years, GEODIS has initiated a wide transformation project of its Finance Function called Odyssey Finance. This program embeds the design of a Finance Core Model encompassing performance management framework, finance processes, and tools supported by better shared master data management.
In this context, GEODIS is launching a Finance ERP project in order to implement the Core Model process in a robust solution that will be progressively deployed on a worldwide scope of entities over the next few years.
To reinforce the team, meeting these requirements, we are recruiting a Finance Program Manager
She/He will be part of the Finance Transformation program.
Besides, she/he will keep updated the IT Finance project portfolio and roadmap.
She/he will ensure an efficient organization is put in place and will manage others incoming Finance projects.
She/he will report to the Finance Procurement & Treasury Team Lead.
Main responsibilities for the position
Support the Finance Procurement & Treasury team lead in the definition of the IT Finance Vision.
Maintain updated the Finance portfolio and roadmap
For all Finance projects and in particular the Finance ERP project:
• Project organization and team coordination:
• Propose and put in place an efficient IT organization to manage the project. Coordinate the project team members (including employees, contractors and partners);
• Seeks ways to increase the project team's effectiveness
• Proactively communicate resource needs and maintain model throughout the project life cycle
Project Framework:
• Lead or oversee all facets of a large international project
• Deliver assigned projects following established PMO standards/guidelines, as well as within SAP Methodology standards
• Develop and maintain a work plan to deliver all deliverables and work products within the start and end dates. Meet work plan milestones
• Track and deliver all deliverables on schedule
• Maintain deliverable and work product quality
Communicate efficiently:
• Track and effectively communicate the project status both up and down the communication chain
• Execute effective IT project communications
• Manage risks & escalation:
• Establish and maintain an effective Issue and Risk Management plan
• Serve as the IT initial escalation point for all project issues, risks, and changes
• Facilitate conflict resolution within the team and escalate when needed.
Budget:
• Consolidate and track all projects IT costs. Develop and maintain an accurate project budget for actual and forecasted hours
The finance program manager will work closely with the Finance applications owner who will own the application at the end of the implementation.
Profil du candidat
The successful applicant will be a Project Manager with a proven experience in managing SAP projects
• SAP FICO full life cycle implementations experience
• Finance business process integration experience
• Comprehensive SAP background across a variety of modules
• Must have experience working on a worldwide basis for large IT services/IT outsourcing companies, with strong client-facing experience
• Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling, and Closing a software implementation project
• Developing and delivering plans for integration management, scope management, time management, cost management, quality management, staff management, communications management, risk management, procurement management, issue management, and stakeholder management.
Skills & Qualifications
• Graduated from an Engineering school or equivalent in Computer Science
• SAP lifecycle implementation experience
• 10+ years of project management experience
• Knowledge of key integration points between core modules or solutions such as FI, CO, MM, SD, …
• Ability to implement practical business solutions under strict deadlines
• Ability and desire to work with people as part of a high-performance team
• Ability to meet internal client's needs with a strong commitment to service
• Understanding of Matrix organizational structures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong presentation experience
• Excellent influencing and communication skills
• Strong ability to listen, respond and build trust
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Strong ability to manage detailed tasks to completion
• Solid experience in project planning tools
• Knowledge of EML would be a plus
• Excellent verbal and written English
