Job description

A Perishable Air Operations Manager oversees the rapid, specialized transportation of time- and temperature-sensitive goods—such as produce, seafood, pharmaceuticals, and flowers—via air freight. They ensure cargo integrity, regulatory compliance, and supply chain efficiency, focusing on cold chain management to prevent damage and delays, with a goal of zero operational failures.

Applicant's profile

• Experience: Previous, intermediate-to-advanced experience in air cargo procedures, logistics, and cold chain management.
• Knowledge: Expertise in IATA Perishable Cargo Regulations (PCR).
• Skills: Strong problem-solving, rapid decision-making under pressure, and proficiency in logistics software
Strong Time Critical Decision Making: Ability to respond rapidly to operational deviations where minutes can affect product quality or shelf life.
Knowledge of Terminal & Carrier SOPs: Understanding of airline and terminal procedures specifically designed for perishable cargo operations.
