Job description
The Project Manager acts as the 'CEO' of the project, taking full ownership of the project's success, from inception to delivery. The role involves managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure. The Project Manager ensures that all project elements are aligned, and that the team is fully supported and motivated. The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, including Business Process Owners, IT, Operations, Key Account Management, and external clients, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, meet client expectations, and align with business goals.
Additionally, the Project Manager fosters continuous improvement in project management practices and contributes to the development of project management standards within the organization.
Applicant's profile
Minimum of 7 years of work experience in project management, preferably within logistics, supply chain, or related industries.
Strong experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Agile, PMP certification preferred).
Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a proactive approach to initiating and handling new projects, even when initial information is limited.
Experience in managing cross-functional teams and working in a multicultural environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
High level of proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Familiarity with software solutions for Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, and Business Intelligence is preferred.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Workshop Facilitation Skills: Experience in leading workshops or meetings to gather requirements and align stakeholders.
Risk Management Skills: Ability to identify, assess, and manage project risks effectively.
Experience in contributing to process improvement initiatives is a plus.
