Job description

The incumbent reports to Assistant Logistics Manager – Ng Huimin
• Manage the import, warehouse, delivery and export operations.
• Track shipments from overseas plants and suppliers.
• Coordinate deliveries and exports to customers and business partners.
• Generate export documents and invoices, if necessary.
• Liaise with the forwarders on the incoming shipments and export arrangement.
• Liaise with the warehouse on the pick & pack for delivery and export.
• Liaise with requesters and provide shipments status update.
• Ensure proper record keeping, filing and reporting of shipment transactions.
• Ensure timely verification of invoices and payment to the forwarders, and billing to our customers.
• Support month end and quarter end closing for the import, warehouse, delivery and export operations.
• Work with fulfillment team, forwarders and importing locations on shipment activities.
• Establishing strong working relationship and understanding with stakeholders, management, business units, suppliers and customers.
• Establish process, procedures, controls, measurements and status reports for the operations.
• Ensure compliance with the company policies, procedures and work instructions.
• Provide status update and results for operational and management reviews.
• Handle other tasks assigned by the management.

Applicant's profile

• A recognized university degree or polytechnic diploma in business or logistics.
• Relevant working experience in logistics, freight or transportation management.
• Keen interest in logistics management work.
• Experience in leading a small team in logistics operations is preferred.
• IT Proficiency in office applications such as Microsoft.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and with ability to work independently and closely with internal and external parties.
• Those who can start soon would be an advantage.
