Job description

The Regional Applications Specialist, APAC is responsible for supporting one of our key freight forwarding application and for ensuring system availability so as to avoid disruption to business operations. The incumbent will also work closely with different internal stakeholders to understand their business requirements so as to provide adequate application support and enhancements.

Solution Support
• Understands technical and functional design requirements for the freight forwarding application
• Provides level 2 technical support for the application and all other integrated channels integrated with application
• Creates prototypes for client engagements, if necessary.
• Identifies system deficiencies and recommends solutions

Project Execution
• Understands project and development plans and is able to clearly articulate roles, project goals and timelines.
• Adheres to coding standards defined by technical management
• Establishes responsible deadlines and personal work plans
• Consistently delivers high-quality services to clients

Application Training
• Train sales professionals on the key functionalities of the application as a value-added solution
• Educate internal users on the effective use of the application

Applicant's profile

Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent

Work Experiences
At least 5 years experience in application support roles

Industry Experiences
Experience in supply chain and logistics will be a plus
