Regional Applications Specialist (Reporting), APAC M/F

Job description

The Regional Applications Specialist (Reporting), APAC is responsible for all reporting needs for the regional business functions in APAC. He/she is expected to develop reports and dashboards for business/support functions after understanding their requirements. The incumbent will also help support the local country reporting teams across the APAC countries.

• Develops and implements analytical reports and dashboards by collaborating with stakeholders from business and support functions
• Monitors and analyses reports/dashboard performance, as well as implement improvements as needed
• Identifies /creates appropriate algorithms to resolve business problems / requirements
• Continuously innovate and determine new approaches & technologies to solve business problems and generate business insights & recommendations
• Create an APAC-wide repository of reports for effective best practice sharing across the region
• Support local country reporting teams with their report requests and demands

Applicant's profile

Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or Mathematics / Statistics equivalent

• Fresh graduates are welcomed
• Strong understanding in Analytics, Machine Learning, Advanced Statistics
• Some experience in Applications support and implementation in prior internship experiences will be a plus
• Knoweldege about Data and Reporting Frameworks
• Experience/knowledge in using Qlikview, Qliksense, Power BI and / or other BI tools.
• Knowledge about big data techniques (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Hive)
• Proficient in usage of Office Productivity Suite Software (e.g. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
