Job description

1. Business Development Strategy
• Contribute to the BD strategy on Global Accounts growth objectives in Asia Pacific
• Determine the strategies for the selected Global and Regional Accounts
• Grow share of wallet with defined Global and Regional customers with GEODIS
• Develop new business touchpoint with the key clients by expanding service portfolio in new markets or new products (cross-selling)

2. Account Management
• Ensure the development and maintenance of customer relationships and enhance overall client portfolio, safeguard sales revenue and ensure customer satisfaction
• Ensure increased consistency of services and pricing linked to “integrated solutions”
• Grow the share of business, as well as expand the relationships within the customer identifying influencers, gatekeepers, decision makers within the region of APAC but also to direct and align with Global and Country KAMs to further penetrate the client organization
• Deploy a strong consultative selling approach with assigned accounts to identify their supply chain challenges and develop value creating solutions that drive increased scope of engagement and share of wallet for GEODIS
• Proactively manage and resolve all account issues using continuous improvement principles to enhance service levels.
• Improve client satisfaction based on formal feedback and surveys of assigned customers.

3. New Business Development
• Identify and target new FMCG prospects with customized propositions
• Develop and Drive the customer growth strategy with the relevant markets
• Provide support & leadership to country sales and marketing teams to further develop relationship and business with identify target prospects
• Drive tender response strategy with identified FMCG prospects
• Participate in activities within the vertical such as supporting presentations to prospects and other clients and showcase best practices & innovative solutions from assigned accounts.
• Work with VM manager to develop standardised offering from the customised solutions deployed for assigned accounts
• Engage VM manager, product stakeholders, IT & management teams to create value-add service offerings for assigned accounts

4. Management Information
• Gather, consolidate, analyse and report management information
• Use CRM to capture the sales activity information (contacts, campaigns, tenders, visits etc.)
• Track key indicators such as volume, revenue, gross profit
• Gather and provide feedback on competitor information through your ongoing interactions with assigned accounts

5. Business Planning
• Drive behavior towards strategic engagement and value creation for assigned portfolio of accounts and strategic targets
• Manage size and quality of pipeline

6. Leadership
• Steer, develop and motivate the country KAM's to sell, maintain and support the assigned clients.
• Put in place Regional and Country Customer cards and use them to drive opportunities, innovations and growth

Applicant's profile

Work Experiences
• 10 years working experience
• Experience in key account management role managing FMCG or Retail sector customers
• Experience in working in regional role, with regional or sub-regional client scope is an advantage

Industry Experiences
• Strong Sales or Business Development experience in Supply Chain Management, Freight Forwarding or Contract Logistics

Geographic Experiences
• Asia Pacific

Management Experiences
• Experience in a matrix organization with functional reports
• Strong confidence and competencies in building executive level relationships
