Job description

A variety of tasks are waiting for you, amongst others:
• Developing a strong pipeline of prospective customers in the Pharma & Healthcare Industry and maintaining customer relationships that corresponds with customer needs,
• Driving an action and tactics plan to win new business short, mid and long-term for Europe that is aligned with our overall strategy,
• Guiding national Pharma Business Development Managers while building a strong and collaborative community in Europe,
• Aligning with our Global VM Pharma & Healthcare as well as similar position holders in other Regions (APAC/AMERICAS),
• Generating quality sales leads for the global network in Pharma & Healthcare,
• Identifying and initiating new opportunities to meet customer/prospect needs as well as identifying cross-selling opportunities,
• Steering major opportunities into our tender process while ensuring the correct hand-over of customer information,
• Developing value proposals in cooperation with our Operations and Business Solutions Department,
• Driving product development regarding the pharmaceutical industry,
• Integrate our recent acquisitions into an end-to-end offer and value proposition.

Applicant's profile

You bring along:
• 5 -7 years of experience in Business Development in the sector of Pharma and Healthcare Logistics,
• Track record in developing and operationalizing a “Go to Market Strategy”,
• Strong functional leadership skills in an intercultural context,
• Experience in working in matrix organizations,
• A well-equipped Sales and Business Development toolbox: you have a strong business acumen, convincing attitude, outstanding negotiation skills and a proactive approach to the market,
• Fluent in English,
• Willing to travel.
