Job description

. • Understand Clients Logistics requirements and service with better solutions, suppliers, cost and deliverables
• Project Manage to see commitments made to customer is delivered & on time
• Contract and Supplier Management bringing value to the customers
• Interface with customer at management level and engage to fulfill contractual obligations with respect to procurement services
• Work closely with customer country Managers and Operations to deliver the services through suppliers
• Drive Procurement team to support the projects and on time delivery
• Individually work with 3PL / 2PL suppliers for sourcing Freight / WH/ Customs clearance and Delivery on behalf of clients.
• Good network with diversified suppliers / logistics services in APAC Countries and GCG .
• Deploy Technology to bring in efficiency and data integrity and support decision making
• Interact with all stake holders to understand business priorities , requirements and work seamlessly to provide supplier rates inputs, risk identification & mitigation plans, business continuity , operation strategies and be able to articulate these with the customers and suppliers and get their approvals
• Effective Supplier Management and Contract Management

REQUIREMENTS :
• Bachelor's/ University degree
• Any Professional Certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management ( CPSM ) /Chartered Institute for Purchase & Supply (CIPS) / Certified Professional Purchasing Consultant (CPPC) or any other similar certifications would be an advantage.
• Experience in procurement of contract logistics services
• At Least seven to ten years work experience in sourcing of Logistics services and customer management
• Experience in procurement of contract logistics services
• Supplier management & contract management related job experience in 2PL / 3PL industry
• Good understanding of current Logistics Market, Suppliers and Services offering
- Supervise a team of 6 to 7 staff
