Description de la mission

Main Objectives :
Define and implement IT architecture guidelines and IT landscape urbanization rules
Collaborate to major IT project for architecture definition, validation and expertise
Animate IT architecture community
Define with IT Architecture community members IT technical standards

IT Architecture Strategy : Contribute to Geodis Group IT architecture strategy definition and enable GEODIS's IS to be agile, scalable and secure

• Evaluate existing systems and provide advice on how to meet organizational requirements
• Build and contribute IT Landscape mapping and documentation
• Define and Implement software architecture guidelines around API urbanization, Development technologies and frameworks, DevSecOps solutions and processes, application architecture best practices
• Work closely with IT Infrastructure and IT Development teams to choose compatible design solutions and help them acting as an expert in IT solution development
• Analyse the scope and expected organizational impact of information systems evolutions (skillset, vendor relation, risk, etc.)
• Ensure that information systems are secure from threat, Identify and address security threats. Contribute to security policies and guidelines
• Contribute to the pattern of urbanization of data exchanges between the different components of the IS (inventory of interfaces, content of interfaces, transport, transformation, frequency, exploitation ...)
• Contribute to GEODIS' cloud strategy (private, public, hybrid for which uses and with which suppliers and on what technologies) in the best possible attempt to contain strong dependence on the main market providers

IT Architecture Projects : Ensure the development and delivery of reliable, performant and secure solutions and IT infrastructure that supports business, continuity and security needs, aligned with IT strategy and Group IT policies :

• Contribute to the Corporate IT projects design and implementation
• Provide advice to all the IT entities on project design, project costs, and expected benefit
• Develop distributed system architecture and system integration
• Ensure that the technical components of the project are in sync with the business needs of the organization
• Contribute to the budget for the design and execution of new IT solutions

EA Governance :

• Manage and Animate Enterprise Architecture Community
• Represent EA in different Governance committee (Data Governance, Demand management)

Leadership and people collaboration :

• Implement and operate Geodis IT Governance process and operating model in his/her organization
• Promote team work and collaboration with the objective of providing the best services to users and customers,
• Conduct people interactions timely, in a transparent, approachable and trustworthy manner.
• Communicate on strategy and business results on a regular basis. Engage dialogue to keep the communication flowing

Profil du candidat

University degree in Computer Science or Business Administration; Master's or PhD degree
in one these fields or Information Technology and in particular software development.
 - Computer Literacy and Technical Skills: To work as an IT architect, he or she must have in-depth knowledge of programming languages, including Java , Python or C# as well as knowledge of computer networking. He or she must also be proficient in applying the knowledge to designing IT programs and solving problems
 - Team Play Skills: An IT architect must be a team player since the job involves collaboration with other IT professionals and clients to arrive at valid solutions. It is equally important that he or she is an excellent communicator to be able to explain complex solutions to clients and subordinates in an easy to understand manner
 - Time Management and Organization skills: To be able to deliver projects within stipulated time, IT architects are usually required to have sound time management skills. They ought to be good at planning and organizing projects as well.

Experience:
• 10 or more years of experience in IT environment,
• 5 plus years managing software development project as architect or lead developer
Knowledge / Skills :
• Strong Software development skill (Java, Python, C#, Java/TypeScript) and development patterns.
• Understanding of current and emerging technologies
• Ability to communicate technology solution / innovation in business terms
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Fluent in English, required for smooth operation of business,
• In-depth experience and knowledge of functional and technical aspects of information systems architecture and organization. This includes technology, organizational considerations, cost & time estimating and project control
