Job title

SAP Finance Core Model Project Manager

Job description

Maintain and improve the current governance model with key business and project stakeholders
. Create inter-personnal connection to enable trust and value adding business partnership
. Understand financial accounting and controlling business processes, pain points, challenges and priorities to be able to propose innovative solutions for business
. Propose "best practices" to automate, optimize, simplify and secure business processes for the sake of business efficiency and value creation
. Ensure customer satisfaction

Deliver in "excellence" inline with Corporate IT Finance & Procurement Service Line strategy:
. Be the ambassador of Corporate IT Finance Solutions strategy, at global scale
. Design the new SAP application landscape, prepare a solid and detailed application roadmap for core model build, pilot, deployments and upgrades
. Contribute to business case studies, cost estimations related to Finance Core Model project
. Manage all contracts related to SAP Finance applications (software, licence and maintenance) and consulting services
. Focus on innovation, automation, simplification, harmonization and digitalization on all areas of work

Manage SAP Finance Core Model Build, Pilot and Roll out projects under Corporate IT Finance & Procurement Service Line function:
. Design and build of E2E standard Finance and Controlling solutions, at global scale, inline with Finance transformation and Corporate IT strategy
. Structure the project organization, governance model and RACI for core model build, pilot and deployment phases
. Build an E2E Global Core Model Implementation and Deployment Methodology
. Design the best application landscape for finance core model, including an excellent integration with all 3rd party systems
. Deliver finance core model implementation and deployment projects in "excellence", inline with Corporate IT Project Management guidelines, milestones, deliverables and budget
. Organize and lead project Steering Committee meetings, other regular project follow-up meetings and escalations
. Prepare high level and detailed project plans, monitor project activities regularly basis and report to service line head
. Plan, mitigate and monitor project risks and issues regularly basis
. Be the primary IT owner of SAP Finance & Controlling core solution, including master data, business process flows, reporting, and communication with all other systems
. Develop an ALM procedure to maintain core finance solution and applications
. Lead CAB (Change Advisory Board)

Team management:
. Daily management of the team
. Manage on-site and offshore consulting resources inline with contract, project methodology and governance model

Budget management:

Applicant's profile

- IT professional with proven program/project management experience in global finance transformation and SAP implementation projects (10+ years).
- Extremely strong Program/Project Management experience on global projects (PMP certification is a great plus), with a great discipline
- Great level of understanding on Financial Accounting and Controlling business processes, strategic priorities, best practice models with E2E approach
- International experience and mind-set
- Ability to design and deploy application roadmaps, with solid technical and functional landscape
- Effective management of contracts and vendors in big scale projects
- Onsite and off-shore team management experience on international projects
- Focused on quality, innovation, digitalization, simplification inline with our Corporate IT strategy
- Strong leadership, communication and change management skills with a customer focused approach
- Being able to convince key stakeholders at all levels, at global scale, good level of influence on teams and people to achieve project targets
- Dynamism, open-mindlessness , being able to drive IT transformation on a global scale, with a good work ethic is a must to have for this role to succeed
- Problem solving, decision making, negotiation and conflict management skills are needed in day to day job
- Organization, time management, delegation, forward planning and strategic thinking skills are needed to drive the team and activities successfully to the target
- Ability to manage crisis situations, being able to work under pressure, high self-motivation and result-oriented approach is also key for the role
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
