Job description
- Professional and disciplinary management of the Controlling department with currently two employees
- Monitoring and preparation of monthly closing, budget, and forecast, including visual preparation and creation of presentations, financial and operational KPI management
- Analysis of the profit and loss statement and balance sheet as well as preparation of decision templates for management
- Creation of business cases to support management
- Planning and optimization of controlling processes within the company (margin analysis, KPI management, cost control, restructuring, automation, digitalization)
- Implementation of projects for the further development of the department
- Support in annual financial statements and audits
- Development of automation and digitalization processes
- Communication with interface areas to ensure transparency
- Business development controlling with a focus on activities, opportunities, and customer analyses
- Monitoring and optimization of risk management
- Further development of employees
Applicant's profile
- Completed degree in business administration or training with a focus on controlling, finance, and accounting, or comparable further professional qualifications
- Professional experience in the field of controlling within an internationally operating company
- Experience in managing employees
- Good accounting knowledge
- Basic knowledge of the freight forwarding industry
- Excellent Excel skills
- Fluent in English and GGerman
- Deadline-Oriented, be persistant to get information from departments, Analytical Thinking
