Job description
GSCO aims to have Security as a global process, where the best practices, such as:
- Global requirements for suppliers.
- Audit their processes
- Prevent possible Security incidents, and when it occurs, work with the location in the analysis of the cause of the route, information to the client involved about the incident according to the times already defined, and the record of appropriate actions to avoid similar incidents in the future.
- Hold updating and operation meetings with the different sites.
- Provide the best security support.

Experience
- Solid experience in security issues.
- Strong experience in handling Security and Protection issues in the Logistics and Supply Chain Industries,
- Experience in managing a Global Community in a matrix environment
- Experience in meetings with customers and suppliers.
- Experience in the analysis of security incidents, as well as in the implementation of improvement processes that avoid them in the future.
Skills
- Monitoring, and implementation of security programs according to the global strategy.
- Building bridges between the SCO functions and with the different clients in America, as well as their support in the business cases of new clients and/or suppliers
- Regional Experience
- Attitude to work with other geographies as requested by Global Security Direction
Travels
- The Americas Security Manager is based in Guadalajara and works remotely with a team of people located in the region called the Americas, however, he must be willing to provide support to other locations and share his knowledge, according to the instructions from the Global Security Directorate
- Travel when appropriate after receiving the corresponding validation
- Management of groups obtaining the best of each member.
- Ability to analyze incidents and generate proposals for improvement.
- Extensive experience in conducting audits.
- Easy to relate to the authorities involved, always taking care of GSCO policies
