Software Asset Business Analyst H/F
Description de la mission
The Software Asset Business Analyst is a member of the CIO Office & Transformation department and is contributing to managing the contracts and the license usage for Global IT Services (Infrastructure Services and Application Services). The Software Asset Business Analyst also supports the Group Software Asset Manager in the day to day operation as well as in continuous process improvement related to license and software assets throughout the Group.
Main responsibilities are:
Operation and monitoring process execution
o Harness the processes of license management in the group
o Raise alerts in case of process inefficiency, propose improvement to Software Asset Manager
o Communicate spread the awareness of counterpart on the role of the SAM for the greater good of the Group
o Follow-up with Action Owners to track progress of project roll out into RUN mode as for license management
o Strongly support SAM Governance (Licensing Steering Committees on a monthly basis)
o Contribute to dashboard production on license activities with anticipation on license risk and warnings
Global GEODIS contract management
o Assist SAM in maintaining a centralized repository as for the contracts involving license and as a service model (pay per use)
o Track tangible KPIs to measure contract effectiveness
o Anticipate contract renewal date
Software Asset Advisory capability
o Develop a core set of skills to position support all group initiatives during the scoping / pre-study phase as for licensing model
o Be identified as a knowledgeable person for architectures based on Cloud first platforms leveraged by the group
IT Audit and compliance
o Facilitate IT Audit task forces/campaigns to enforce compliance from a license-based point of view in relation with SAM and head of IT Audit and/or internal control teams
o Execute the action plan when remediation is needed
o Contribute to the improvement of the audit toolkit
Process optimization
o Support the Software Asset Manager in the journey to continuous improvement as for software asset management in both strategic and operational levels
o Promote/market the use of a tool/platform to have a better view of the contract library and the asset under management (license wise)
o Assist in SAM tooling opportunities/implementation/optimization
Knowledge cultivation
o Grow the understanding of main vendors contract terms & conditions
o Liaise with system and infrastructure architects worldwide to educate and drive optimization and proper consumption of software licenses
o Develop awareness around Software Asset Management and the benefit of harnessing it group wide
Profil du candidat
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field with knowledge and/or interest in Software Asset Management / Contract Management / Software architecture - 3 years of experience
• Capacity to produce synthetic study for IT Management
• Good execution skills and attention to detail. Ability to collaborate and identify/resolve conflicts or barriers to effective teamwork in a non-hierarchical set up
• Project Management experience, ability to develop/execute plans with discipline and tracking
• Native in French (for legal and contract comprehension), fluent in English for daily operations
• Result oriented, interested in and able to find solutions. Hands-on and constructive attitude
• High analytical and conceptual skills and a good structured way of working
• Ability to federate teams and competencies to reach SAM goals
• Ability to produce deliverable for IT management for decision and arbitration
• Ability to work in a rather autonomous framework and being a part of a virtual team
• Ability to create and nurture trustful relations despite the cultural differences and geographical distance
