Job description

The Business Support Services department is the commercial driver of our growth. We attract new customers, retain and grow our existing customers as well as enhance the existing customers portfolio. The team is responsible for end-to-end management of global tenders, solutions & implementation projects, received from either Global Account Managers, vertical market directors, Geodis Supply Chain Solutions or the network.

As Global Tender Manager you are the global ambassador for Geodis Freight Forwarding. The purpose of your job is the end-to-end management of proposals for global tenders. You can develop and translate business strategy into strategic plans and contribute to the development and execution of this strategy. You contribute to the realization of new business by advising on specific customer solutions. You will report to the Director Business Support Services.

Applicant's profile

- You have academic working and thinking level, and 3-5 years of relevant working experience
- You are experienced in Tender Management preferably in a global environment
- You have experience in Project management, VAS and supply chain solutions on multi-functional projects
- You have International business experience/awareness, especially covering BD/Operations/IT within Freight Forwarding
- You have excellent communication skills in English (both written & verbal) and have good intercultural skills
